Blue Columbine, and, nope…it’s not really flying or suspended in mid-air. It’s perched upon the top of a long, slender, green stem. 🙂

Doesn’t this blue Columbine flower look like it could maybe take off in flight with those long trailing tendrils?…or dive to the bottom of the ocean? Instead, it’s chosen to just sit there and look beautiful, and I’m happy about that. 🙂
