I have been invited by Steve at Simplicity Lane to join the Līgo Circle of Appreciation among fellow bloggers.  Thank you Steve for such kindness.  You can read more about the Līgo Circle of Appreciation at Esenga’s Voice.

For a duration of 22 days, starting on 1 October 2012, two bloggers per day will be invited to join the Līgo Circle of Appreciation. PLEASE NOTE: This is an Appreciation, NOT an Award.

The yearly Līgo celebration happens every summer solstice in Latvia. At this time people adorn their heads with Līgos of flowers, oak leaves, grasses and plants. They join circles around bonfires and celebrate life, and their appreciation of each other.

To fully participate in the Līgo Circle of Appreciation:

* Complete this sentence about blogging: ”A great blog is…”

* Refer back to the blogger who invited you.

* Invite 2 bloggers to join the Līgo Circle of Appreciation in a post.

My answer: A great blog is one which inspires and celebrates the best of the human spirit.

I would like to invite:

David Kanigan, for daily doses of inspiration at Lead.Learn.Live.

Francesca Zelnick, for beautiful and gifted writing at Words/Love.
