And if I knew how to embed the video into my post, I would have done that…but I didn’t know how to do that, and no time to find out. It’s a Louie Schwartzberg TED video, amazing!

Carol, thank you for posting this. it is truly beautiful. It reminded me of something my daughter said to me the other day. “Mum, you don’t always have to photographing the scenery, just enjoy it”. It’s so true.

Thanks Carol … click share on YouTube then embed and you can change video size, then copy into your post

Beautiful and touching video, and I am grateful for your link to it. πŸ™‚

BTW you can change any link to a YouTube video into an embedded video at WordPress by putting its URL after the colon in the following text: [youtube:URL]. So in this case you’d type:

    [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=gXDMoiEkyuQ&vq=medium%5D

Oops.. My last YouTube hint didn’t quite come out. I’m going to try putting the code in a preformatted block.

    [youtube:URL]
    [youtube:[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=gXDMoiEkyuQ&vq=medium]

Dang! I’m really messing up your comments. WordPress display what I’m typing. So in word here’s how it goes:

Left square bracketyoutubecolonpaste in the URL of the videoright square bracket

  7. Deb Platt says:

Okay, the above had been a list of items, but it didn’t let me do a list either. At this point I’m skulking off…

    Sorry for the mess. 😦

I wish the comments had a “preview” button. Or like some other places (even Facebook now!), you could edit a comment after you posted it.

It’s more frequently than I would like that I post something incorrectly on WordPress…and then I have to try and fix it, sometimes unsuccessfully…at which point I just give up and hope that my friends will understand my blunders. πŸ™‚

I almost always see errors in my own posts after I hit the “Publish” button. It is a mystery to me why I don’t see these errors while I’m previewing the post, but somehow I only see a portion of them. On the other hand I’m grateful that I can edit my own post after publishing it.

      • Carol Welsh says:

I always just have to hope for the best the first time around…because it’s when I try to edit an error that I run into the bigger problems. The format changes and it ends up looking worse than it did in the first place. Oh well, that shows you how technologically advanced I am. Maybe I should just start praying at the same time that I’m thinking of hitting the “publish” button. πŸ™‚

      • Deb Platt says:

Praying can’t hurt. I’ll give that a try the next time that I publish something. πŸ™‚

Gratitude. Well please accept my gratitude for bringing this video to our attention. It is such a lovely video and I will be watching it quite a bit in the future.

    • Carol Welsh says:

Oh, thank you my friend…I’ve wondered how many people watch it all the way to the end, because that is where the best part is. Each day IS a gift, and I hope you have a wonderful day today. πŸ™‚
