I’ve taken lots of hummingbird photos, but out of all of them, this has been my favorite so far…and surprisingly, I know, because it’s not such a clear photo. I think it’s because it looks more like a painting to me rather than a photo, and there is a part of me that keeps steering toward photos that look more abstract, more like paintings. I’m pretty sure it’s because there was a time in my life when painting and art were a part of my every day. That was all before the beautiful children and before life’s pace became more hectic. ๐Ÿ™‚

      One can always hope for that! My children I feel have been my greatest accomplishments…raising good children, so it was very much worth giving up a bit to do what has given me the most in my life. I just took a look at a few of your other photos and saw what I have missed by not looking more closely beforehand. Your photos are so beautiful!
