  1. ooooh….scabiosa!! this flower needs a prettier name to suit it’s dreamy look, don’t you think? πŸ™‚

  2. Added your blog to my blogroll. Love it!

  3. I would love to lie down in a field of those flowers. Did you see the pic I just took yesterday on my home page? The Peony I think it’s called just bloomed in my flower bed.
Another georgeous photo- I can’t beleive you are not a professional photographer!

The purple flower on your page? That’s really pretty! No…a professional photographer I am not. I just take photos when something has a certain nice look, like this blue flower drooping down. Anyway, thanks for your kind words. πŸ™‚

  4. Scabiosa and bachelor buttons are different flowers, yet butterflies love Scabiosa and every garden should have some. D.

    • Carol Welsh says:

I was led to believe that Bachelor Buttons are part of the Scabiosa family of flowers. In any case, it doesn’t matter that much to me. The name on this flower was Bachelor Buttons when I brought it home from the garden nursery. Maybe they had it incorrect as well. If you want this one to be Scabiosa, then so be it. πŸ™‚
