So are all these flowers from your personal garden?

    • Carol Welsh says:

Most are…yes. People are always bringing me flowers from their own gardens as well though, because my friends just know…I love flowers. I also look for unusual flowers in the florist areas of stores and shops, and sometimes I’ll just buy a few for myself. The tree photo is from the backyard. ๐Ÿ™‚

I should add that I work from home for a marketing research company…on the computer most of the day every day. The only breaks I take sometimes are to take a few photos here and there…and I can’t go far most days, just out the back door. The flowers keep me going. ๐Ÿ™‚

How sweet of your friends! I haven’t been doing any gardening, and I’ve been thinking I’d love to have some flowers to attract hummingbirds. On the other hand, I’ve been so taken by your poppies, maybe I should plant some of these.

You should! I honestly don’t have a whole lot of time for the actual “gardening”…but I try to spend at least 20 minutes a day doing a little bit. The poppies are actually just in a large pot, and right now there are about 30 pods ready to open. I really do nothing but water that one…and it flourishes. I’ve been hoping for a white poppy, but looks like I’m going to have to keep my eyes open to buy one if I see one. This poppy plant has only orange, pink, and yellow so far.
